J joined 3D in 2001, and graduated from the electrical apprenticeship in 2010. J has certifications in Fall Protection & Lift, CPR/First Aid, and training in Rigging, Shop Steward, and solar training from Oregon Department of Energy & Energy Trust of Oregon.

J is married with two kids.
